Born in Lisbon in 1966
I have dedicated my life to photography as a way of interpreting the world. Since beginning my career as a freelance photojournalist in 1994, I have collaborated with several Portuguese newspapers and publications, experiences that shaped my eye and strengthened my instinct for capturing decisive moments.

In recent years, my work has focused increasingly on sports photojournalism, where emotion, movement and unpredictability unfold in fractions of a second. I also had the privilege of serving as the official photographer of Sporting Clube de Portugal for two years, a role that deepened my connection to sports imagery.

Across thousands of photographs taken around the world, my purpose remains the same: to document meaningful stories and the emotions behind each moment.
